Our first-floor dining room is one of Kew's most quietly special event spaces. It sits above the pub, looking out over Kew Green, with the kind of view that does a lot of the decorating for you. Georgian rooftops, mature trees, the Green stretching out below. In summer it's golden. In winter, with the lights low and the room full of people, it's even better.
The room seats up to 50 guests for a private dinner, or 70 standing for a drinks reception. It can be dressed up or kept simple depending on what the occasion calls for. We've hosted birthday dinners where the table ran almost wall to wall, and intimate wedding breakfasts where twenty people made the room feel exactly full enough.
Whatever the format, the space has something a lot of private dining rooms in London lack: it actually feels like somewhere, rather than a blank box with a hire fee attached.
